TROUBLESHOOTINGS(FAQ)
PROBLEM SOLUTION
Can’t turn ON the power of system

Check if the computer’s power cables are all connected properly.

Check the input voltage.

If you can’tnd any wrong connection, but you still can’t turn on the
power, you have to consult service center or technisions.
Power is turned ON, but all you can see is a
blue screen.

Check if the monitor’s power cables are all connected properly.

Check if the monitor’s power button is pressed ON.

Check if the output data cable of SHR-6040/6042 system is properly
connected to the monitor.

Disconnect the power cable and connect it.

If you choose VGA mode for video output, you have to wait about
1 minute before you can see surveillance screen on your monitor.
Camera numbers are displayed on the
screen, but can’t see any visual transferred
from camera.

Check if the output data cable from cameras are properly connected
to SHR-6040/6042 system.

Check if the cameraspower cables are all connected properly.

Check the cable connections between camera and SHR-6040/6042.

If video signals are sent to multiple systems, sometimes video splitter
generates weak video signal, so monitor displays nothing. In this
case, connect the camera directly to the center system to avoid this
problem.

Turn OFF and ON the SHR-6040/6042 system.
Video images are displayed, but I can’t
record these.

Check if you have set Recording Method at Record Setting. If it is
set toNONE’, you have to set it correctly.

Turn OFF/ON the SHR-6040/6042 system.
Can’t find recorded images.

Check graphs to see if video images were recorded at the time zone
you want to find video images.

If no video images were recorded at the time zone, check the setup
screen to find if recording method is properly set.
Can’t hear audio outputs.

Check if the camerasAudio Save Option is set properly.

Check if Audio Play Option is selected already at Search Screen.

Check if microphone and speaker are properly connected the rear
side of SHR-6040/6042 system.

Check if the connected microphone input is working properly.

Check if the connected speaker output is working properly.
