Timer recording can be programmed on-screen with the remote control.

The built-in timer allows automatic unattended recording of up to 8

programs within 1 month.

Preparation:

• Press TV/VCR to select the TVNCR mode.

Load a cassette tape with the erase prevention tab intac

Check the time and date are correct [_.

Example:

Program a timer recording for 23rd day, channel 25 - 001

(Digital Channel), 7:00 - 9:30 PM (Tape speed : SLP).

Press MENU, then press _ or • to select

_;I option.

Press • or • to select "TIMER REC SET", then

press •.

Press • or • to select one of the program line,

then press ENTER.

Press < or • to select the date, then press V.

is prohibited under the Copyright Laws of the United States

and other countries, and may subject you to civil and/or crimi-

nal liability.

Set the start time, end time, channel (Digital or

Analog) and tape speed as in step 4.

Then press ENTER.

Notes:

• Press • to move cursor

backward for correction.

• To record from external

source set the channel to

"LI" or "L2".

To set the timer for another program, repeat

steps 3 to 5 to set another program.

PressTIMER REC.The TIMER REC indicator

will light.TheTimer is programed, when the

programed time is reached, the recording is

automatically started.

TIME RECTO cancel timer recording, press the

TIMER REC 1% _

O _/€\_ button again and TIMER REC

indicator will go out.

Notes:

• The VCR section cannot be used while the TIMER REC in-

dicator is lit. If you want to use the VCR operation, press

TIMER REC to deactivate the timer.

• When the clock is not set, you cannot select "TIMER REC

SET". In this case, set the clock (see pages 20~22).

After a power failure or disconnection of the power plug,all

programmed recording setting and time display will be lost

upon resumption of power. In this case, reset the clock (see

pages 20~22) and reprogram any timer recordings.

• If you want to correct the digits while setting, press • or •

until the item you want to correct, then press < or • to

correct the desired setting.

If programming is performed without a tape in the unit, or

with a tape without an erase prevention tab, the Timer Re-

cording is not possible. Ita tape without an erase prevention

tab is in the unit, the tape will be ejected.
