Using the Samsung Fast On or Sleep mode functions, you can

quickly turn the computer on and o .

Press the Power Button. The power mode selection window

appears.

Sleep Mode

Samsung Fast On Mode

You can con gure the menus in the power mode selection

window by selecting Easy Settings > Power Management

> Power Button Setting.

Click on a mode.

Type Description

Sleep

The LCD is turned o and the computer is turned on.

This is a Windows power-saving mode and consumes

some power.

Samsung

Fast On

The LCD is turned o and the computer is in

the logged o state so that almost no power is

consumed. When you start the computer in this

mode, it is quicker than turning the computer on.

The computer has entered Samsung Fast On or Sleep mode.

If you press the computer’s Power Button again, Samsung

Fast On or Sleep mode is canceled and you can resume the

previous operation.
