Menu Navigation

Main Menu Navigation

To access your phone’s menus, press

the Menu key, the Left and Right soft

keys, or the Navigation key.

1. In Standby mode, press Menu

( ). The Main Menu appears

in the display.

2. To access a menu or sub-menu

named in the display, select the

appropriate icon.

Return to the Previous Menu

Press to return to the previous menu.

Menu Shortcuts

Use shortcuts to quickly access menus and sub-menus. Press

the Menu key ( ), then press the number to the left of the

menu to jump to the desired menu, sub-menu, or feature.

Example:

To jump to the

Outbox

sub-menu, press Menu ( ), then press

(for Messages) and (for Outbox).

Navigation Key Shortcuts

Phone Keypad Closed

In standby mode and with the QWERTY keypad closed, press the

Navigation key to launch the corresponding applications in the

pattern shown here.

Note:

You can change the functions and applications launched by pressing

the Navigation key Up, Right, and Left. (For more information, refer to

“Phone Settings” on page 94.)
