Shortcut: To activate Camera mode, you can also press and hold the Side

Camera button .

5. Using the phone’s main LCD as a viewfinder, aim the camera

lens at your subject.

• To change the brightness of the screen, press the Up or

Down navigation keys.

• To zoom in or out, press the Left or Right navigation keys.

6. Hold the camera steady. To take the picture, press or the

Side Camera button

until the shutter sounds.

• If you wish to save your picture, press the left soft key

to Save your photo. The photo is stored in your photo

gallery. See "Image Album" on page 79 for more details.

• If you wish to send your picture to someone via

multimedia messaging, press . Your picture is

embedded in a new multimedia message. See "Sending a

Picture via Multimedia Messaging" on page 78 for more

details.

• If you wish to discard the current picture, press the right

soft key for Reject. You can continue to take pictures.

To Take a Picture With the Phone Closed

1. Press and hold the Side Camera button to activate Camera

mode.

2. Point the camera lens at your subject. You can check the picture

framing through the external display screen.

Note: If the subject images in reverse on the external display, select

inversion using the volume keys to display the image correctly.
