INSTALLATION MANUAL – SHD-200C / SHD-300C Corner Mount

Unpacking

Unpack carefully. This is mechanical equipment and should be

handled with care. If an item appears to have been damaged in

shipment, replace it properly in its carton and notify the shipper. If

any items are missing, notify Broadsight Systems, Inc. The shipping

carton is the safest container in which the unit may be transported.

Save it for possible future use.

Service

If the unit ever needs repair service, the customer should contact

Broadsight Systems, Inc. for a return materials authorization (RMA)

and shipping instructions.

Care and Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance to keep the unit dust free.

Model Designation

SHD-200C Large Corner Mount

SHD-300C Small Corner Mount

Description

The Corner Mount Camera Brackets are designed to allow a Samsung

Techwin miniature camera to be installed in the corner of a room.

Hardware Kit

2 x Screw, #10 x 1-1/4 Pan Head Phillips

2 x Wall Anchor

1 x Wrench, Torx Tamper Resistant

Tools Required

#2 Phillips Head Screwdriver

Certification

Camera installation should be performed by a licensed professional

and conform to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable

local codes.

Installation

1. Remove cover by removing two (2) tamper resistant screws

using wrench provided. Set cover aside.

2. Use corner mount backbox as a template to mark installation

hole locations. Drill surface using appropriate sized drill bit.

Fasteners provided in kit are not ideal for all installation types.

3. Drill hole for cable entry into backbox. Route cables/camera

into backbox and attach power/data cable(s).

4. Use appropriate wall anchors and screws to attach backbox to

installation surface.

5. Orient camera as needed to achieve desired field of view.

6. Replace cover to complete installation.
