Step 1. Download the Firmware Files to a USB

Memory Stick

2. Connect a USB memory stick to the USB port of your PC.

Copy the file to the USB memory stick.

3. Open the USB memory stick, and then extract the firmware files from the

Zip file.

1. Download the firmware file from Samsung.com to your computer.

File Name: 2014 Samsung UHD FW.zip.

4. Confirm that a folder containing the firmware files has been added

to the USB memory stick.

6. Safely disconnect the USB memory stick by clicking ‘Safely Remove’

in the Task Bar.

5. Confirm that the USB memory stick has folders named ‘T-NT14UAKUC’ and

‘T-GFP8AKUC’ in the root directory. See the illustration below.
