Auto Power Off

To save battery power, you can set the "Auto Power Off" function to 5 Min. This setting turns

off the camcorder if there is no operation for ﬁ ve minutes.

1. Press the MENU button.

2. Touch the "Settings



“Auto Power Off.”

Touch the desired submenu item.

3. To exit the menu, touch the Return (

) tab.

Submenu items

Off: The camcorder does not turn off automatically.

5 Min: The camcorder automatically turns off if there is no operation

for 5 minutes in STBY mode or in thumbnail index view.

•

Auto Power Off is temporarily disabled in the following cases:

- When the camcorder is connected using its built-in USB plug.

- While the Demo function is in operation.

- While the camcorder is recording, playing (except when in pause), or running a photo slide show.

To operate the camcorder again, press the Power ( ) button.
