The TVWon't Turn On, •

The Remote Control Does NotWork.

The cable/set top box remote control

doesn't turn the 77/on or off, or

adjust the volume.

Makesure the AC power cord issecurely plugged in to the walloutlet and the TV

Makesure the waUoutlet isworking,

Try pressingthe POWER button on the W to makesure the problem is not the remote, If

the TVturns on, referto "The remote control does not work" below,

• Check the cable connections. Removeand reconnect allcables connected to the 77/

and external devices.

• Set the video outputs of your externaldevices (Cable/Sat Box, DVD, Blu-rayetc) to

matchthe TV's input connections. Forexample, if an external device'soutput is HDMI, it

should be connected to an HDM)input on the TV.

• Make sure your connected devices are powered on,

• Be sure to select the correct input source by pressing the SOURCE button on the

remote control.

• Reboot the connected device by unplugging it, and then reconnectingthe device's

power cable.

• Replacethe remote control batteries. Makesure the batteries are instaUedwith their

poles (_./-) inthe correct direction.

• Clean the sensor's transmission window on the remote.

• Try pointingthe remote directlyat the W from 5-6 feet away.

• Program the CabldSet remote control to operate the TV. Referto the Cable/Set Top Box

user manualfor the SAMSUNG TVcode,
