Basic Features

■ 자막 표기 설정: (digital channels only)

크기: Options include Default, Small, Standard and

Large. The default is Standard.

자막 색상: Options include Default, White, Black,

Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta and Cyan. You can

change the color of the letter. The default is White.

배경 색상: Options include Default, White, Black,

Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta and Cyan. You can

change the background color of the caption. The default

is Black.

자막 투명도: This adjusts the opacity of text. Options

include Default, Transparent, Translucent, Solid and

Flashing.

배경 투명도: This adjusts the opacity of the caption

background. Options include Default, Transparent,

Translucent, Solid and Flashing.

방송 기본 설정으로 돌아가기: This option sets each

Size, Foreground Color, Background Color, Foreground

Opacity and Background Opacity to its default.

NOTE

자막 표기 설정 are available only when 방송

기본 and 자막 1 ~ 자막 6 can be selected in

Caption Mode.

The availability of captions depends on the

program being broadcasted.

The 방송 기본 setting follows the standards set

by the broadcaster.

The Foreground and Background cannot be set

to have the same color.

You cannot set both the 자막 투명도 and the

배경 투명도 to 투명도.

For details on set up options, refer to the “Network

Connection” instructions (p. 24).

게임 모드 (끄기 / 켜기)

When connecting to a game console such as PlayStation™

or Xbox™, you can enjoy a more realistic gaming experience

by selecting the game menu.

NOTE

Precautions and limitations for game mode

– To disconnect the game console and connect

another external device, set 게임 모드 to 끄기 in

the setup menu.

– If you display the TV menu in 게임 모드, the screen

shakes slightly.

게임 모드 is not available when the input source is

set to TV or PC.

After connecting the game console, set 게임 모드 to

켜기. Unfortunately, you may notice reduced picture

quality.

If 게임 모드 is 켜기:

– 화면 mode is set to 표준 화면 and 음향 mode is

set to 영화를 볼 때.

– 이퀄라이져 is not available.

BD Wise (끄기 / 켜기)

Provides the optimal picture quality for Samsung

DVD, Blu-ray and Home Theater products which

support BD Wise. When BD Wise is turned 켜기,

the picture mode is automatically changed to the

optimal resolution.

Available when connecting Samsung products

that support BD Wise through a HDMI cable.

멜로디 (끄기 / 작게 / 중간 / 크게)

Set so that a melody plays when the TV is turned on or off.

월-마운트 조정

After installing your TV on the Wall-Mount, you can adjust the

location and angle of the TV conveniently using the remote

control.

¦ Picture In Picture (PIP)

동시 화면

You can watch the TV tuner and one external video source

simultaneously. 동시 화면 (Picture-in-Picture) does not

function in the same mode.

NOTE

For PIP sound, refer to the 음향 선택 instructions.

If you turn the TV off while watching in PIP mode, the

PIP window will disappear.

You may notice that the picture in the PIP window

becomes slightly unnatural when you use the main

screen to view a game or karaoke.

While 인터넷 TV is in operation, the 동시 화면

function cannot be used.
