(Menu 5-2)
When you receive a new message, the new
message icon displays, corresponding to the type
of message.
• : Text message
• : Text SIM message
•: MMS message
• : MMS notification message
• : Voice message
• : Network configuration information
message. For information about
configuration messages, see
Configuration Message on page 75.
When you access the
Inbox
menu, the list of
messages received displays with each message’s
size, sender’s address, and message subject.
Press the
Options
soft key to use the following
options; the options may be different depending
on the selected message type:
View
: shows the message, or retrieves MMS
data if the message is an MMS notification
message.
Reply
: allows you to reply to the sender with a
text or multimedia message.
Reply all
: allows you to reply to the sender and
all other (if any) recipients with a text or
multimedia message.
Forward
: allows you to send the message to
other people.
Install
: allows you to install the network account
settings. This option is available only for
configuration messages.
Cancel retrieving
: allows you to cancel
retrieving a message.
Delete
: deletes the message.
Delete all
: deletes all messages in
Inbox
.
Details
: shows detailed information about the
message. This option is shown only for MMS
messages.
