The

Settings

menu provides you with various

setting options to customise the phone to your

preferences and needs. You can also reset the

settings to their default values.

To access this menu, press <

> in Idle

mode and select

Settings

Time and date

(Menu 9.1)

Use this menu to set the current time and date

on your phone.

•

Time zone updating

: select a mode for

updating the current time and date.

Prompt first

: the phone will read the MCC

(Mobile Country Code) from the network and

automatically update the current time for the

country that you are in when you travel

abroad. Before updating, the phone will ask

if you want to update time information.

Automatic

: your phone will receive time

information from the network.

Manual only

: you can set the time and date

manually.

Time zone

: set the home time zone. Select

the city that corresponds to your home zone.

To set the daylight saving time, select

Set

daylight saving time

•

Time

: enter the current time.

•

AM/PM

: select

in 12-hour time

format.

•

Time format

: select a time format.

•

Date

: enter the current date.

•

Date format

: select a date format.

Time information may not be updated when

you move to one time zone to another within

a country.
