Ferrite Cores
The ferrite cores are used to attenuate
undesired signals. When connecting cables,
attach one of these ferrite cores to the cable
near the connector.
When you connect cable to
COMPONENT1, COMPONENT2,
and side AV attach ferrite core near
the connector and clip to secure it.
You can attach a ferrite core to more
than one cable. If the cable thickness
does not allow to secure it firmly,
wind the wire around the ferrite core
before closing it (as illustrated).
