Enter text
ABC, Arabic, T9, Number, and Symbol modes
You can enter text for some features such as
messaging, Phonebook, or Organiser, using ABC
mode, T9 mode, Number mode, and Symbol mode.
Changing the text input mode
The text input mode indicator displays when the
cursor is in a text field.
Press the right soft key to change the input mode.
Example:
Writing a text message
Using ABC mode
Press the appropriate key until the character you want
appears on the screen.
Using Arabic mode
You can use the Arabic writing mode. This mode has
the same properties as the English writing mode which
is explained above. You can change to Arabic mode in
Language select menu by pressing and holding the
right soft key of the text input mode indicator.
