voice recording
You can record your own voice, speeches, lectures, and other outside
sounds with your voice recorder.
Before you start - Turn on the recorder, and check the battery.
Set the current time. See page 18.
If you want to use the external microphone, connect it to the voice
recorder.
See page 13.
VOICE RECORDING
1. Select
G
<Voice REC> on the main menu screen.
2. Press the [FOLDER] button to select a folder where the
recording fi le will be stored.
3. Press and hold the [REC] button.
Voice recording starts.
Press the [
] button if you want to pause recording.
If you press and hold the [REC] button in power-off condition,
the recorder turns on and voice recording will start.
When you connect the external microphone, the
<Select Input> screen will appear. Select <MIC/PHONE In>
and you can start recording.
Do not remove the batteries during the recording.
Otherwise, it may cause serious damage not only to
fi les/data but also to the system.
Keep the external microphone away from the earphones
during the recording. Otherwise, it can cause noise on the
recording.
Do not put the microphone too close to or far away from your mouth as it may cause
a poor recording.
Voice recording does not perform properly when the battery is low. So check the
battery and replace it with a new one before recording.
