30 _ voice recording

RECORDING FROM AN EXTERNAL DEVICE

Before you start - Turn on the recorder, and check the battery.

Set the current time. See page 18.

1. Use the audio cable to connect the output port of the external music player to

the external device connection jack of the recorder.

2. Select

<Voice REC> on the main menu screen.

3. Press the [FOLDER] button to select a folder where the recording ﬁ le will be

stored.

4. Press the Play button on the external music player.

5. Press and hold the [REC] button.

Recording starts.

6. Press the [REC] button to stop recording.

When you connect the audio cable, the <Select Input> screen will appear.

Select <LINE In> and you can start recording.

The recording quality may differ according the external device.


