Reading VOICEYE codes
Before reading a VOICEYE code, tap
Setting
and tick
Scanning sound
to set the device to
emit a sound when scanning a code. Tick
Decoding sound
to set the device to emit a sound
when the scan is finished.
Tap

and place the rear camera 5-10 cm from a VOICEYE code. The content embedded in
the code appears on the screen.
The device may not recognise VOICEYE codes in low light conditions. Use this feature
in places with sufficient light.
Using a magnifier
Tap
Magnifier
, aim the rear camera at some text, and then use one of the following:

/ : Adjust the magnification.

: Focus on a subject.
•
: Freeze the live-view screen.
•
: Change the display colours and adjust the contrast to make the text appear clearer.
To adjust the contrast, tap

: Turn on the flash.
Light Sensing
Use this application to detect the brightness of an area via the rear camera.
Tap
Light Sensing
on the Applications screen.
Aim the rear camera at an area. The device indicates the brightness of the area by displaying a
circle on the screen and emitting beeps or vibrating.
The brighter the area is, the larger the circle on the screen becomes. The beeps emitted by the
device also become higher pitched and faster paced. The darker the area is, the smaller the
circle on the screen becomes. The beeps emitted by the device also become lower pitched
and slower paced. If the device is in silent mode, the device vibrates faster when the area is
brighter or slower when the area is darker.
