page 29
Each press the Anti-shake (OIS) ( ) button repeat the Anti-shake
(OIS), Anti-shake (OIS DUO), Anti-shake (OIS DUO+) and Off.
Use the Anti-Shake(OIS) function in the following cases
When recording while walking
or riding in a moving car.
When recording with the
zoom function.
When recording subjects
of a small size.
Understanding OIS DUO
Reduce camcorder shake and
prevent blurred images with
Optical and Digital Image
Stabilization functions.
When you turn on Smart Auto mode, it automatically sets Anti-shake
(OIS) to On.
The Anti-Shake (OIS) function may not correct gross camcorder
shake entirely. To decrease shake, hold the camcorder firmly with
both hands.
When this function is On, the actual movement of the subject and
the movement displayed on the screen may be slightly different.
When you record in dark or dim light at high magnification while
this function is On, after-images may stand out. If this occurs, we
recommend using a tripod (not supplied) and turning Anti-shake (OIS)
to Off.
