seconds.

• Data/Fax - The i700 can be used to receive an incoming

fax or data call.

• Roaming - Allows you to select a desired roaming option.

For more information, see “Roaming Options” on

page 44.

To access the option settings:

1. Tap Start located in the upper left corner of the screen.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap the Personal tab.

4. Tap the Phone icon.

5. Tap the Option tab.

OAMING

Your phone can roam on other digital networks. Roaming

occurs when you travel outside a pre-designated coverage

area. The roaming icon appears on the screen when in

roaming mode. When you are roaming, extra charges may

apply when making or receiving a call.

Some features may be unavailable while roaming. Roaming

also consumes additional power from the battery requiring

more frequent charges.

OAMING OPTIONS

The following roaming options are available:

• Home only - Your phone is available for normal

operation only in the designated coverage area.
