Extended functions

Using the Movie mode

Set desired options. (For a list of options, refer to

page 45.)

Press (Video recording) to start recording.

Press (Video recording) again to stop recording.

You can start recording a video in any mode by pressing (Video

recording) without having to rotate the mode dial to

You can capture a photo in Movie mode by pressing [Shutter].

Pause recording

The camera allows you to temporarily pause a video while

recording. With this function, you can record separate scenes as

a single video.

OK : Pause

• Press [o] to pause while recording.

• Press [o] to resume.
