3. Enter a name for the favourite item and press
the Enter soft key.
After saving favourite items, you can use the
following options by pressing the Options soft
key:
Go to URL: quickly accesses you to the site.
Edit: allows you to edit the address.
Delete: deletes the address.

This options allows you to manually enter the
URL address of the Web site that you wish to
access. You can access this menu directly by
pressing and holding the key in the WAP
browser.
For further details about entering characters, see
page 43.
Settings (Menu 9.2.4)
This option allows you to set up five proxy
servers for the WAP browser. Contact your
service provider for details about setting options.
For each server, the following options are
available:
Profile Name: enter a name that you wish to
assign to the HTTP proxy server.
Homepage URL: set the address of your
startup homepage. When the default homepage
displays, you can delete it using the C key and
enter your own choice.
Security: select a data transmission mode.
Choose Secure to protect your data against
unauthorised access; otherwise, choose Non-
Secure.
IP Address: enter the WAP gateway address
required to connect to the Internet.
Bearer: select a bearer to be used for each type
of network address accessed; GPRS or Data.
When the bearer is set to GPRS:
User Name: enter the User ID required to
connect to the GPRS network.
Password: enter the password required to
connect to the GPRS network.
APN: enter the access point name used for the
address of the GPRS network gateway.
When the bearer is set to Data:
Login Name: enter the PPP server login ID.
Password: enter the PPP server password.
Dial-up Number: enter the PPP server phone
number.
Data Call Type: select a data call type;
Analogue or ISDN.
Note: The WAP browser settings may vary,
depending on the service provider. Contact
your service provider for further details.
