Chapter 5 Measurements and Calculations
Tips!
Repositioning Point
You may drag and drop the start point or the end point to change their position after the distance
has been measured. You can only reposition the start/end point of the last measurement taken,
which is shown in green on the screen.
Tips!
Finishing Measurement
You can finish taking measurements by performing one of the following actions. In Calculation, the
measurement result will only be recorded when measurement is complete. Measurement data will
not be recorded in the report except for in the circumstances described below. This action applies
to all measurement items.
1. After taking a measurement, tap the touch screen twice in quick succession.
2. After taking a measurement, tap the Freeze button.
3. After taking a measurement, tap the Report button.
4. After taking a measurement, select another menu.
When measuring is complete, the measurement markers on the screen will turn from green to
yellow, and the measurement results will turn white.
Once a measurement has been completed, you cannot reposition its start or end point.
Angle
A basic measurement that is available in all diagnosis modes. Specify two straight lines in a 2D image
and measure the angle between them.
1. Select Angle from the touch screens soft menu. On the touch screen, draw a straight line in the
area to measure the angle. Refer to ‘Distance for instructions on drawing a straight line.
2. A straight line that meets the straight line you have drawn at an angle will be automatically
generated on the screen.
3. Drag and drop the point on the automatically generated line to adjust the angle.
4. The angle between two lines will be calculated and displayed on the screen.
X
when two angles are calculated, the smaller angle is displayed.
