32_ cleaning and maintaining your washing machine

• IfyoudonotperformtheECODrumCleancourse,the“ECO

Drum Clean” indicator on the display is turned off. However,

the “ECO Drum Clean” indicator on the display and the

lamp on the Cycle Selector are turned on again after two

washes are performed. However, this will not result in a

problem with the washing machine.

• Althoughgenerally,theECODrumCleanAutoAlarm

appears once a month or so, the frequency may differ

depending on the number of times the washing machine is

used.

• In case of the alarm, please also clean the debris

ﬁlter (refer to “Cleaning the debris ﬁlter” section on

page 34). Otherwise the performance of the bubble

function may lower down.



1. Unplug the washing machine from the power supply.

2. Open the ﬁlter cover by pressing down and pulling its

handle.

3. Pull forward the emergency drain tube to separate it from

the guide hook.

4. Take off the emergency drain cap closing the emergency

drain tube.

5. Allow all the water to ﬂow into a bowl.

Remain water maybe more than you expected. Prepare

larger bowl.

6. Re-attach the cap to the emergency drain tube and then ﬁx

the emergency drain tube to the guide hook.

7. Replace the ﬁlter-cover.
