iPhone Support – User Application Notes

Introduction

The iPod touch, iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS are

supported on CellDEK. In order to extract the data

from an Apple device, iTunes must be installed on the

system*.

Periodically Apple release iTunes software updates

that are available for download from the Apple

website. Apple also release periodic iPhone software

updates for the iPhone device operating system that

is installed through iTunes. Newer versions of iTunes

may not have been tested by Logicube yet. Please

contact Logicube Technical Support to find out which

version of iTunes is supported.

Note: the iPhone extraction button will only be

displayed in the CellDEK software when a version of

iTunes is available on the system.

IOS 5.x

Data from iPhones with iOS 5.X has been fully

validated by Logicube. Please check the software

version’s release notes for the version of iTunes

required.

Error message: Cannot find .plist

When an iPhone is connected to CellDEK or CellDEK

TEK that has iTunes installed, a unique identifier file is

created and stored in the local windows system folder.
