CellDEK® User Manual 23

The CellDEK is operated via a touch screen

interface. A stylus is included and is stored in a

holder located directly above the touch screen.

NOTE: The CellDEK lid should always remain

closed when the unit is charging or not in use.

Touch Screen Calibration

The touch screen on the CellDEK can be calibrated.

There are two sets of instructions that can be

followed to perform a touch screen calibration

depending on the CellDEK you have.

1. Asus tablet – CellDEKs that have the power

switch on the bottom right hand corner of the

display.

2. Fujitsu tablet - CellDEKs that have power

switch on the top right hand corner of the

display.

3. Panasonic tablet - CellDEKs that require you to

open the storage area to turn the power on.

Calibrating the Asus model

1. Turn the CellDEK.

2. On the Windows Log On screen, tap OK to

log on to Windows.

3. The End User License Agreement should

appear. Do not do anything to the License

Agreement. Do not close it. Do not click

OK.

4. On the Windows desktop, double-tap the

Hide StartBar icon. If you cannot locate it

on the desktop, look for a folder called

“Unused Icons”. Double-tap that folder and

see if the Hide StartBar icon is there. After

double-tapping the Hide StartBar, the

Windows Start button should appear on the

bottom left of the screen.

5. Tap the Windows Start button.

6. Locate and tap Touch Panel Tool on the

left side. If this cannot be found, tap All

Programs then the Touch Panel Tool

folder. In that folder, you will find the

program called Touch Panel Tool.

7. The Touch Panel Tool window will appear.

NOTE: The Touch Panel Tool window

may appear behind the End User

License Agreement (EULA) window. If
